This is not your annual cheesy woman’s day caption, or a tacky post for this day and what it means to be a woman.
Yes, flowers are the best. And colours and pretty pictures but this year it doesn’t feel right to stand on that. This year we’re using this space as a reminder. A reminder to all of you out there that this is the time to be part of breaking chains of rape culture, of sexism, it’s time to be a part of changing patriarchal stereotypes and challenging or fighting toxic masculinity. For standing up for every human out there. For giving space to grow with equal rights to every-single human out there regardless gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion and decision.
To giving equality, love, peace, change and hope a chance. a real one this time.
